TURNING LIABILITY INTO ASSET

In implementating 5S concept, organization should look into the  concept of recycle where some of the asset  was left abondoned for quite sometime can be used or reused. By adopting 5S concept, like old furniture, cabinets, racks and so on, can be used after a little refurbish such as applying some varnish or paint and putting some decorations.

Through bench marking and visits to some organization which was establish in implementing 5S concept, we noted that some office equipments was reused  after some refurbishment. Following this, JKDM Sipitang is applying the concept, by  turning of liability into asset, where some old office equipments is being reused after being refurbish.  This concept not only economical, but far inside its can inculcate cooperation and espirit de corp among the staff.
